http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. The Italian International has formerly been a part of Serie A when he played
for Parma back in 2007. The striker has spent the last five years of his career playing for Villarreal.
The 25-year-old is currently out of action due to a knee injury suffered in October last year. The ligament issue has rendered the player doubtful for the upcoming Euro 2012 with Italy, and his agent believes that the summer transfer
window could see the end of his relationship with Villarreal, and the player has his eyes set on Italy.
Giuseppe Rossi has been linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 for a long time now ,and the striker’s agent acknowledged that the move is possible but the Partenopei will have to raise the required funds with the anticipated sale of Ezequiel
Lavezzi to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
While talking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Federico Pastorello said:
“Lavezzi going to England and the money from his sale being used to bring Rossi to Napoli? I cannot confirm this, but it is a possible scenario that Pocho leaves Napoli and I cannot rule out the possibility that Giuseppe does not
want Napoli.”
However, the agent insisted that they are yet to make a decision on the transfer and the market is yet to label an adequate price on the player. The representative admitted that the player as well as the club is going through a
tough phase and refrained from giving a direct answer regarding the star’s move to Napoli saying that he did not want to anger the club.
“The market is yet to be decided, we must wait and see. Giuseppe has had a difficult year, both for himself and for Villarreal. Can I say that Rossi is ready to wear the shirt of Napoli? No, otherwise I’ll cause a ruckus.”
Pastorello concluded that Rossi and Villarreal are more ready than ever to consider attractive offers from other clubs.
