Giuseppe Rossi to Juventus by the end of the week, claims agent – Serie A Transfer Update
The agent of the Villarreal striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giuseppe-Rossi-c15027, has revealed that his client might finalize his move to Turin by the end this week. Federico Pastorello is confident that the deal between the Italian outfit and their Spanish counterparts will turn out
good if Juve place the right offer.
La Vecchia Signora are in a process of talks with the Villarreal officials since a week and reports from Spain suggest that the Italian international will be in Italy for the 2011/12 season. The striker’s representative was talking to the Sky Sport 24 reporters
where he gave his statement.
“This could be the week when a number of deals may be done, including Giuseppe’s. Villarreal have made the right request for Rossi, now Juventus have to prove how much they want him. However, there is not a lot missing in order to complete a deal – Juve
just need to make the right offer,” said the agent.
Furthermore, Pastorello claimed that Rossi is not in a rush to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and if a deal does not get finalized between the two outfits he would be content to stay with the Yellow Submarine.
“Rossi is calm and is just waiting to know what his future will hold. Yet he wouldn’t have any problem in staying at Villarreal where he has a good relationship with everyone,” concluded the representative.
The Lady Killers were initially after the Atletico Madrid forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero, and the deal was very likely to work out between the two parties. However, the striker was valued at 50 million Euro mark and Juventus considered his transfer fee and monthly
salary rather too steep. Considering Aguero to be unaffordable, the Bianconeri turned towards the Italian international.
Reports from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 suggest that the Turin giants have already placed a 25 million Euro offer on the table for the Villarreal star. However, the Spaniards are keen on letting Rossi depart only if they receive 27 million Euros. In this regard, Rossi’s agent
believes that Juve and Villarreal would come to common grounds soon enough. The future of the 24-year-old American-born Italian footballer is likely to be sorted out in coming days.
