The Robur manager insists that his team will feature sacrifice and humility in the semi-final of the Coppa Italia 2nd leg against Napoli.
AC Siena are set to travel to Stadio San Paolo to take on Napoli in the second-leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final.
The manager has already created history by taking the newly promoted club to an unprecedented stage in the Coppa Italia. The manager, however, insisted that he is not content, and will look to push the team even further towards
the final.
Giuseppe Sannino admitted that the game is a huge one for his side, but said that the time is to believe in themselves and go for the best. The manager insisted that the Bianconeri will prove that they have the grit to play against
the giants of Italian football, who are looking to bounce back from a disappointing UEFA Champions League exit at the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
While talking to fedelissimoonline.it, the Bianconeri boss said:
“Tomorrow night we’re going to Napoli with the desire to do well in front of a large audience. We will try to make it difficult for a great opponent who has many champions that are looking to bounce back from the Champions League
exit with this possibility of re-qualifying for Europe without waiting until the end of the season.”
Siena have the upper hand in the game, after they secured a one-goal lead in the first-leg. The Robur won the first-leg 2-1 at Stadio Artemio Franchi last month.
The Bianconeri boss insisted that his team will need to exhibit the same humility and sacrifice that enabled them to stop Napoli in the first-leg. He commended the players on their brilliant efforts, and said that although his
team have fewer points in the Serie A points table, they want to honour the Coppa Italia in the best possible style.
Sannino admitted that his club is modest when compared to the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, but insisted that sometimes the mouse can tickle the elephant. The Bianconeri boss believes that regardless of the result of the game, the campaign
has been nothing less than a fairy tale for his team, and they are not going to stop dreaming of a final.
