Giuseppe Sannino has confirmed that the time has come for him to tread a different path, and insists that he wants a move to Palermo.
Reports in the media already suggested that the tactician is on his way to the Rosanero, but the Bianconeri manager remained tight-lipped about the matter.
The Siena boss stated that he owes a lot to President Massimo Mezzaroma, but insisted that the patron must understand that he has ambitions and wants to move on.

“We’ll see what the future holds for me. I owe a great deal to President Mezzaroma, but at the end of the season we talked it over and decided if the option arose that we could take different paths. I think this can be considered
a moment of stand-by, as the President is thinking about it, but I hope soon he can give me the opportunity to work in a new adventure.”
The former Lecco manager was brought to Siena after Antonio Conte decided to leave the club, and move to Juventus.

The Bianconeri manager insisted that he is hoping to move to Palermo, as they are a a club where many important coaches have worked in the past, and stated that the outfit will also provide him with a good opportunity to grow.
Siena have already agreed to let their sporting director, Giorgio Perinetti, move to the Aquile, and the manager will be their second taking from the Robur.
