  1. DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF JOB AND COMPLAINT


  2. Ask them questions about it. So say they say they aren't happy with the service they received.

    Ask them what was said, and what made them unhappy. Ask them what would have been a better resolution for them. Apologize for the poor service (no matter if you gave it to them or not - just apologize on behalf of the company) and do what's in your power to resolve the complaint. If you can't do anything, offer to have the manager brought in.
