Give a formula for a function that is undefined at x=8 and for x<4, but is defined everywhere else. ?

Can anyone please help me? What does this mean exactly? Please help, I'm so lost!!

  1. Such a function is f(x) = sqrt(x - 4) / (x - 8).

    This function is not defined at x=8 because then the denominator is zero.

    This function is not defined for x&lt;4 because the numerator sqrt(x - 4) is only defined for x ≥ 4.
