As you can see, there are many viable alternate sources of energy that we can and should use to supply our energy needs other than fossil fuels and coal.  If we are going take global warming seriously, then we will need to make a dramatic change to our energy infrastructure soon, so that we may curb global carbon emissions.  Even though these alternate sources of energy may be more expensive than using fossil fuels and coal now, they are getting cheaper, and in the long run, the cost of continuing to release carbon emissions into the air, with our current energy infrastructure, will be much more costly than using alternate sources of energy.  So we should invest in alternate sources of energy now so that we can lessen the blow of global warming on the world in the future.
