Filter specifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Filter type (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-cut, all-pass)

2. Cutoff frequency

2a. Bandwidth or corner frequencies, if it is a band-pass/cut

3. Stop frequency (or frequencies, if it is a band-pass/cut) and attenuation at stop(s)

3a. Number of filter poles, or specified attenuation at specified frequency from cutoff.

4. Bandpass ripple

5. Bandstop ripple

6. If 4. and 5. are not specified, then, the filter class (Butterworth, Bessel, Chebychev, Elliptical, etc.)

7. Input impedance, output impedance

8. Insertion loss

9. VSWR
