Sourav Ganguly is my favourite cricketer.  Just 3 reasons isn't enough to explain why I like dada so much-anyway, I am trying:

1) He is a charismatic individual who has never given up despite being subjected to the hardest of situations. His comeback is a true inspiration to me, and he is ever determined to prove why we call him the "Bengal Tiger".

2) Sourav was an outstanding skipper, and it was he who really took the Indian team to a position of honour and dignity. I like his agressive leadership (which was missing in IPL), and he brought forth many young talents who are now playing well for India.

3) Last but not least, Calcutta's prince is an elegant batsman, and a useful bowler. His stylish shots are a delight to watch, and that's why he is truly regarded as "God of the offside".
