  1. There is Arable farming which is the growing of crops

    Pastoral farming- which is the grazing of animals like cows

    And mixed farming which is a bit of both growing of crops and grazing of animals.

    If this is for year 10 then these are what we have learnt according to the GCSE syllabus

    e.g. free range and intenstive.

    There are also fields in which specialise in different animals such as dairy farming or sheep farming.

    There is also puppy farming BUT lets not go there!!
