the best way to learn tricks is to check out vids and how to guides.  on thewave.com there are vids on how to do tricks, i would def check'em out.  also, on youtube.com just by searching for street surfing or waveboard you can find a lot vids showing off all sorts of tricks.  keep practicing the tricks and checkin' out the vids and one day they will click.  one by one your trick list will grow.

p.s. - the wave is better for all around tricks, the ripstik limits your manuveurability.  hope that helps!!

Ok here it goes... First you need to start out on manual, just put 75-85% of your weight on the back of your board, take that and do it going off a curb.  To go off the curb and get air just go up to a curb do a manual and when your last wheel is over the curb, move your weight to the front of the board.  Than after that you can learn how to do a curb sit as i like to call it.  To do a curb sit all you have to do is manual and hit your nose onto the curb and than balance that until your tail is on the curb also.  Hope this helps, sorry it isnt as long as you would like.
