  1. WE ARE NOT FREE WAKE UP

  2. The simple answer is that the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution is the one that keeps the rest of the Constitution intact.

  3. It protects the profits of the gun manufacturers, who would otherwise go out of business.  It also keeps the crime rate high, ensuring enough work for police, prosecutors, etc.

  4. As we are able to walk freely in the USA, we are also able to defend ourselves, from the elements our corrupt govt. allows in here, Two days ago, 2 men were stabbed to death in the county next to mine, had they been carrying a weapon of some kind, they may have been able to defend themselves, and would still be alive today, by the way, the three men who killed them!!!!! illegals!!!

  5. It's really quite simple.  Here in America we consider ourselves a FREE people.  We are not slaves, or serfs, or oppressed "subjects" of some king or despot.  We deeply cherish this freedom and if anyone should try to take it away from us we must be ready, able, and willing to fight for it.  If you live in a society or a country where the ONLY people allowed to keep and carry firearms are the police, the military, and government officials, there is no way you can consider yourselves a FREE people.  Because you, literally, have the government's gun to your head -- you will do anything required of you or face the wrath of the STATE.  In America we will not tolerate this.  The Second Amendment is our MOST IMPORTANT freedom, because it is the freedom that makes all others possible.

  6. It keeps the bitter people happy.

  7. No one will want to invade.

I think some Japanese general around WWII said something about invading the U.S. being impossible because "there would be a gun behind every blade of grass" or something like that.

  8. It is the right of the people to bear arms not only for personal self defense, but also for defense from the tyrannical nature of a pure democracy/(our own government), as well as potential threats from foreign entities.

  9. Can't think of a single example. How many more Columbines and Virgina Techs are going to get shoved down our throats?

I do concede that as long as there is a Republican Party we should have guns to defend ourselves with.

  10. The 2nd. amendment guarantees that the people have a final, as in last, resort to tyranny.  The only other check we have at our disposal is the right to serve on a jury.

These two rights are extremely important to insure that the law can not be used for what it is not.  Mainly, a tool to force men to act moral while tyrants do not.  This type of system is sheer blasphemy to the ratifiers of the constitution because it robs us  of the ability to develop our faculties.  Thus, the more laws that are crammed down our throats, the more immoral people become.  Laws, that are unjust or unconstitutional always need to be enforced by gun point.

Freedom and liberty is achieved when there is no difference between government and ordinary citizens.  There can be none because in a free environment no one is above the law.  A individual or group of individuals can not have the right to do what would be unlawful for common persons to do.  So if, military, and "law" enforcement can be issued firearms, so too must every individuals right to do the same be protected, else you have tyranny... not freedom.

That is it in a real simple nut shell, and I make no apologies for the idiots who will not understand it.  And  Columbine, or any other such arguments against the 2nd. amendment fall short in logic.  There are far more fatalities everyday at the work place and on the road.  Do not expect government to gaurentee you saftey.  Here is their viewpoint: "Those who would sacrafice Liberty for saftey deserve neither."
