Give me info on snakebite piercings please ^_^?

I really want to get snakebite piercings but im a little clueless on everything associated with them like...

how much does it cost to have it done?

It's going to hurt, but how badly?

What can you equate the pain to?

How long do you leave them in?

Can you sleep w/ them?

Do you have to clean the pierced areas?

i've heard about these clear studs that you can put in so you can keep the holes from closing shut when you're at school, because at my school, you can't wear piercings like that.

Please be as detailed as possible! i am clueless about piercings!

I don't even have my ears pierced lol.

i have my labret and medusa done, and im thinking about getting snakebites too,

yes it hurts but not much just a little pinch, the claping hurt me more than the needle going in

you can leave them in for as long as you want, and yes you sleep in them, you can get retainers for them, and you have to keep the area clean after you have had it done while it heals,

they will swell up a little and eating fora few days will be hard

but after that they are great

-It will probably cost you about $80 to get it done, depending on the studio.

-It is going to hurt. A lot. You know what it feels like to bite your lip? Imagine now that you a shoving two needles through it.

-You have to leave them in for at least 3 weeks, probably more depending on how your body reacts to them.

-Yes you can sleep with them in.

-Yes. To clean the piercing, you can do a salt water soak. Take a shot glass and fill it with water, and put 1/4 tsp of salt in. Dip a cotton ball in and then press it against your piercing.

-Yes, you can wear clear retainers but be warned that you can still see the piercing and will probably still have to take them out if the school faculty see it.

Also, beware of this : If you do get your lips pierced, be warned that when you take them out you will have two scars where the rings used to be. It's really unnattractive and hard to fix without some reconstruction or plastic surgery.

Not really, just a pinch, but it WILL bleed!! and swell.

about 2 weeks then you can change the ring,

DUH you can sleep with them, you have to or it'll close!!

DUH!!!!!!!!1 you have to clean them so you dont get infected.

get your ears peirced, it'll look nice!!
