Pros to ps3: free online, Mildly better graphics (u cant tell tho) cons to ps3: online community sucks, expensive, not as wide selection of games, xbox360 user friendliness kicks its ***, last i heard it was prone to alot of techinical problems, Thats all i can think of its not a bad machine jst i prefer 360

im not a fan of any console before anyonme says anything. the xbox has alot of good shooters to be played but gears of war2, bioshock 2, mass effect 2, and huxley are the only good exclusives(in my opinon) coming up for xbox. the ps3 has a wide variety of games such as fighting racing and shooting. blu ray doesnt matter really and the xbox has better online. if u enjoy shooter alot xbox but few new games

360 is much better.

you can download XNA Games Studio, for free, which makes custom games for you. then upload your custom games into creators.xna, then play others' custom games. and, whenever you want, for free, you can put it on your 360 and play your game there. if Microsoft LOVES your game, they buy it off of you for HUGE prices, then sell it off the marketplace. i LOVE it.

you can install linux on a ps3, and the graphics are better.  unfortunately, you can't play halo on a ps3....

PS3 is more power oriented since it is using a card made by NVIDIA where as ATI has the contract for XBOX which in most part have been plagued with problem after problem....The XBOX is less stable then the PS3...If you want something that will burn up in 6 months go for it...A friend of mine has a XBOX and sent it back to MS 3 times inside of 8 months I bought my PS3 around the same time and have not sent it back yet. In short. XBOX is a slower system and very unstable still yet.

I never said that. I own a 360 and to me it has better online service and more choices in great games. Gears, Halo, COD. Great games. the Ps3 is more exspensive and with fewer games but able to play ps2 games. I might just get a regular ps2.
