You've certainly been given a few sources already (plus a few people saying it isn't true but they don't give any supporting information other than their personal opinion... strange that!).

You can find a lot of opinions on the subject, but no hard facts that prove the theory.

Global warming is a con game for economic and political power by a group of politicians around the world. It has not happened, will not happen and cannot happen and anybody with even an average high school education should know better or our schools are in worse shape than I thought they were. The sea level rise happened 11,000 years ago when the ice age ended and the mile high glaciers melted. Global warming or climate change as they now call it is on about the same level of truth as the Nigerian email scam or those emails supposedly from your bank wanting you to reenter your security information so they can clean you out. So be careful if you accept the AGW scam you are prime meat for any of the rash of identity theft email scams out there.

Well they played out the same scenario in the 20s and 30s, first the new ice age is coming in the 20s and then the Co2 causes global warming in the 30s. But then it was part of promoting a new refrigerant called Freon that would prevent the possibility of global warming that Co2 refrigerant could cause if it escaped into the air. Remember Freon, it that nasty gas that is supposed to harm the ozone layer. This whole thing is about propaganda and profits, Freon was great up until the patent extensions ran out and they were no longer getting royalties from other companies making it so they got it banned and a new less efficient gas with a fresh patent protection cycle was introduced by them.

There are always a group of tame low level scientists who will sell their souls to who ever pays them the most to promote a specific agenda, remember the tobacco wars in congress. The only part of the green program I can endorse is making our nation energy independent and the core of that is space based solar. Until that happens we will continue to be dependent on other countries for some portion of our energy needs. With it and nuclear backed up by wind and ground based solar we can become an energy exporting nation instead of importing.

BAS and AAD are the Antarctic Research groups of the U.K and Aus.

While I find some of the conspiracy theory's that get posted here very amusing, they have no actual facts behind them. The sheer number of scientists involved rule out a conspiracy, data like ice cores is being collected by multiple organisations around the world as are co2 records and tree ring data.

There will probably be someone who reads the above and suggests the OISM petition would dispute this, even half hearted research on that petition shows it is worthless, released by a group with well known links to oil company funding.
