ok so ...first off I'm not pregnant i just thought for a girl (if i had one)

id name her anberlyn....i think it's pretty and different but all my friends think its weird...your opinion??

Its not weird whoever says its weird is so D2M and it is way more unique than my name Berlin but i think Anberlin is more unique than Anberlyn but i like Berlyn better than Berlin even tho Berlin is my name i might change it to Berlyn

I do think it's pretty but I wouldn't name my child after a popular band (and I'm pretty sure Stephen Christian said if he had a girl he'd name her Anberlyn, but idr). Amber is really pretty, or Anber, but if you name her Anberlyn you'd have people asking you, "Oh, like the band?"

I think it is very pretty, and unusual, but that's ok because your daughter will wear it(not your friends), I personally have not seen this name before,but its uncommon and unique, and that's how it should be.

I like it. I think people these days pick names for their children out of a book of children's names that have been used millions of times. I think the point of a name is to be unique, in my opinion. Think of it this way, people will most likely know who you're talking about if you mention the name Anberlyn in a sentence. I like it. I'm all for unique names.

Well, it is unique, so that's a plus, but I have to agree with your friends. It seems like it's trying to cram too much into one name, and it also makes me think of the city Berlin. How about making it two different names with a similar sound to them? Amber Lynn sounds a lot like Anberlyn, but it's also a real name. Amber could be the first name and Lynn the second, or if you really want to you could hyphenate. Another similar one is Anna Lynn.

Anberlyn...that is weird. Why not Amberlyn (amber-lin) Or Jessalyn, Kaitlyn, Analyn, Aralyn, etc. There are many other pretty names with "lyn".

If you ever have a daughter and are TRULY in love with the name Anberlyn, then use it as a MiDDLE name.
