Give that kid a new name?

Do you like your name? Would you have liked to have changed it to something else? What would you change it to? I have never liked my name, it was not who I was or even who I am now. At my age I guess it no longer matters, when I was young I could not change it because my mom named me.

my name is Jayde and I really like it and have always liked it...is your name poppy??  because i love this name, is so lovely!!!  you can change it if you dont like it!!  but everyone will have trouble calling you the new name!!!   good luck though

My name is Emily.

The most popular name in the United States since 1989. But where I grew up, there were Emily's but never ones where I was in close contact. Actually I graduated in a class of 305, and not one of them was named Emily.

Emily is equally interesting for only having 5 letters but 3 syllables.

It's been easy having a common name, you often can find it on towels and cups and cute things like that. My mom named me Emily for that exact reason, she wanted me to be able to find souvenir's at tourist places. But then it sorta gets on your nerves, because it's just that COMMON.

If you don't like your name, or there is a name you've always preferred, simply name your child that!

I've sorta already named mine THOUGH they are in the FAR FAR distant future...

i hate my name, i'd love to change it but im not sure as to what. either a guys name or something exotic/unique.  i dont like mine because my mom gave me the name that she always wanted DX (my mom and i have issues...) but yeah...

i've considered changing my name,

because it is soooo popular.

i know at least 6 other girls named kelsey.

but now,

when i really think about it;

i don't know what i'd change it to.

i've become so accustomed to it;

it would be weird to go by anything else.

some parents let their daughter name herself when she was younger, and of course, she named herself pattycake. I think she's a professional snowboarder/skiier now. Just goes to show that little children cannot name themselves. I think its best for their parents to name them, because its like a gift because you were born. It'd be too pressuring to have to name yourself and trying to find a name to suit you. By being given a name when youre younger, you grow up to suit your name. having being said, I like my name a lot and i wouldnt change it at all, its all I've ever known, you know?

I dont like my name because i was named after someone who never cared for me i would change it to serins btw my Intials are V.C.R.....thts another reason
