  1. joeschmo has the correct formula but the wrong answer.

    "The area of a triangle is half the product of two sides times the sine of the included angle. "

    A = (1/2)(a)(b)(sin C)

    A = (1/2)(75 km)(130 km)(.981952169)

    A = 4787 sq. km.


  2. Well, I used an equation that I didn't know existed until now, but it gives the Area of a triangle as equal to 1/2absinC

    so, from there i just plugged everything in and i got 4304 km^2

    Hope that helps!
