that if 10.0 mL of HCl (aq) requires 16.2 mL of 0.403 M NaOH in a titration, the molarity of the HCl is 0.653 M.

    Ma is molarity of acid

    Va is volume of acid

    Mb is volume of base

    Vb is volume of base

    so  (Ma)*(10.0 mL) = (16.2 mL NaOH)*(0.403 M NaOH)

    to solve for Ma it would be

    Ma =  MbVb / Va
