f1 visa is a student visa. to get the visa you need I-20 form from you school in USA. under f1 visa, you can go to school and work part-time in your school and if you finished your school, you will get 1 year OPT, you can work for 1 year after you graduation in USA. if within 1 year you can get sponsorship from the company you are working at, you can then apply for H1-b visa which is the working visa.
