And who is your target audience. (What group of people would this design be for? Example: Punk Rock teenagers.)

Before designing my hat product, I'd think about...

(1) How I intended to market my hats - i.e. my marketing channel.

(2) What hat designs people wanted - i.e. market research.

(3) What hats were currently selling the most. (Market research again).
