  1. Tough call.

  2. Read Hamlet.  It has the answer.

"Neither a borrower nor a lender be, for loan oft loses both itself and friend."

  3. NOT a tough call...money comes and goes, you spend as much as you earn and it can be lost very easily.

We, as a society, have lost sight as to what really matters in this materialistically, product-oriented world that surrounds us and the marketers prefer it that way, of course. However, friendship, no matter the depth, can always lead you to several key moments in your life...including wealth. But, money can't buy you true friendship...they work independently from each other, but not in the transverse...

I would much rather have the friendship. But, I know how you feel...I've been "left behind" for someone who has chased the money dream and we've since lost contact after a 18 year friendship...then again, he's also lost his family, self-respect and the deeper sense as to what life can offer.

So, go, chase the world's dream...and in the end, you'll stand alone. But, I encourage you...go, have fun spending money on yourself and all your devout psychophantic followers.

(said with a snide sense of sarcasm...of course)...

    peace,

    baldy

  5. I have money.

    I have friendship.

I would much rather be stuck on an abandoned island with a friend than with a stack of money. I think of it that way.

  6. It depends on how much money were talking about and how close the friendship is.

  7. if you have one true friend for a lifetime you have something even big $
