used to work for a big DIY retailer had a customer phone up after expecting their new bathroom suit to find out that it was promised a month later than planned the problem comes because they ripped out the old suit before actually seeing the suit arrive so i found an old ex display bathroom suit and got it on a van so that they had a toilet sink and bath as the only had the one bathroom contacted my manager as i was only the warehouse manager at the time the manager said that their  was nothing that he could do so i phoned the area manager and although he was a mate of mine and he couldn't help he put me through to the regional manager and he gave me a direct supply chain telephone number for the company who made them and asked if the could do me a big favour as i had explained what the customer had done and make one that night and ship it out strait away to us i had to be honest and say i really wasn't expecting anything but the next day i was called in to the managers office and was told i had been given the employee of the month as the company who mad the bathroom did make the suit and ship it out but directly to the customer .
