Despite Hart technically stealing Given’s spot, the keeper has gone on to admit that the youngster is bound to go on and become one of the best in the business.
When talking about Hart and just how his future might unfold, Given is quoted to have said: "Joe has done really well for the last four or five seasons.”
"He is at a fantastic club, with some of the best players in the world. And Joe is one of them.
"But the thing is, he is still very young. In goalkeeping terms he has got years ahead of him."
Given then went on to admit that the youngster was getting a lot of exposure, as he was competing at the best tournaments around.
His participation in the Champions League has helped him realize just how competitive the sport can be and with him heading to the Euros with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, he is bound to improve even further as a player.
He continued: "This year he played in the Champions League, which he hasn't done before, and in the summer he will play in a European Championships, which he hadn't done before.
"That will help him improve. You can't buy experience and the more he plays the more he will gain."
Should City continue to utilize the youngster and help him hone his skills, he could prove to be one of the best keepers to ever come out of England.
At the moment, City don’t have anyone who can play as back up to the England international and this could prove to be a good and bad thing at the same time.
As long as the club make sure the player is well rested and help him avoid injuries, he is set to make a name for himself in the future.
