What did we learn from his years in Washington?

The Bush Administration has:

· balked at an increase in the rise of death benefits for our troops

· attempted to charge our wounded for their meals.

· tried to reduce hazardous duty pay by almost half

· tried to reduce dependent housing allowance by almost half

· said that 440 million in home purchase guarantees for active duty personnel was too expensive

· allowed Walter Reed Army Hospital to deteriorate

· closed several VA hospitals

· tried to implement a fee for VA benefits

· refused to give VA medical care to national guardsmen and reservists once they went off active duty.

· wanted to freeze pay raises for certain pay grades

· thought a war could be fought on the cheap (against the advice of the Army)

· thought it was a war that could pay for itself

· that told us that the Iraqis would greet us with flowers

· that told us that the insurgency was in its final throes. (That was 2005).

  1. Web site?  Newspaper issue/date?  Any source at all?  Didn't think so. NEXT!

  2. Well for starters he was not part of the Bush administration, so I am not sure what their actions have to do with McCain other than they are both Republicans.  How did McCain vote on all of these issues?   What were his views?

Buts perhaps their views and beliefs are different from yours and they simply support more Republican or Conservative agendas.

  3. He is not a terrorist like Obama and all of his terrorist friends, Pelosi, Reid, Kerry, Biden, Farakhan, Ayers, Kennedy, and by the way Kennedy's brain rotted years ago so don't worry about the brain cancer.

  4. Because hes running against anemptyy suit

  5. and most importantly...he was never a community organizer! d**n..he's screwed...

    thanks for the laugh

  6. Where is your source, if you have sources are they legit? You need to prove valid arguments and logical thinking rather than accusations especially without sources or evidence. Yes Bush has made some mistakes but so did Clinton (if not more) and every other president before him. Try and take the role of president for a week and see how it feels (then again, I hope the US doesn't suffer that week). How do you think obama would fix things? High taxes? Foreign dependence on oil? Immediate withdrawl of troops? How will that help us out rather than create more chaos? If you can provide legit arguments with sources and proof then you have my respect.

  7. peolple are racists

  8. What do you expect intolerant racist bigots to support, a man with vision and insight?

Same old boring war mongers they've always been.

  9. Listen to Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and a slew of other right wing takl radio nut jobs and you will know why people vote Republican!  They're seriously brainwashed and out of touch with reality!

  10. I'm having trouble finding the words McCain in your ignorant tirade, could you perhaps use a bold font or something?

  11. They have yet to come up for any reason I can see that is the least bit plausible.  A lot of them are racist and just afraid to vote for an African American.  A lot of them are just afraid of good change.  They wallow in their unhappiness, because that's all they know.  A lot of them are simply stupid and think Obama is a terrorist or a Muslim.  It really comes down to brains and the people voting for McCain don't have much upstairs.

  12. McCain seems to be running on the national defense platform while our vets end up sleeping under bridges...NO MCCAIN for me.

  13. you left out he abandoned hundreds of pow's in nam.

back to the question, people will support McCain because he's a Republican and for no other reason. seems to me people have become awful lazy and just want to support the party rather than do some research. this year we do not have anyone in both parties that is up to the job. nonetheless you have people on both sides acting like their god has arrived. makes me ill most days.

  14. ...and your source for all of this info?

  15. He is still not Obama, which has accomplished nothing and will do irreversible harm to this country. I really wish everyone could take an economics class before they vote. But you have the right to be ignorant in this country, and it is our greatest liability.

  16. I'd vote for Cookie Monster over Obama.

(I heard he was calling for a reduction in taxes on cookies.)

  17. Because McCain is running... and not Bush.

  18. Sorry, but you grabbed the 2006 Democrat talking points.

Oops.  Wake up it is 2008.  Bush is not running.

    Time to get things DONE!

  19. lol

Yep, that's why I'm for Obama.

  20. Yeah well, you're' not voting for Bush or his administration. His advisers will leave the white house when he does. If anybody can shake up the do nothing Democratic controlled congress, McCain will. If you want results vote McCain, if you want social programs, spending, oil and taxes to go up, and the quality of your life to go down, vote Obama!

  21. Wow - this almost qualifies as a rant, not a question.

I am voting for John McCain - Sarah Palin because they are suthentic people with solid personal and political belief systems and an authentic record of private and political achievements.

    Obama has none of these.

Obama now wears a flag pin because someone told him it would get him votes.

Obama dismissed Reverend Wright after defending him for months because someone told him doing so would get him votes.

Obama asked the DNC to restore the full delegate votes of Michigan and Florida because someone told him doing so would get him votes.

If someone told Obama to strip naked and run throgh fire with a noose around his neck in order to get votes, he'd probably do it.

Obama does not want to lead, he only wants to win.  That's why he must be defeated.

  22. Seeing as Bush isn't running I will base my decision on McCain and Obama.  I will probably vote McCain but only because he is not Obama..

  23. You listed allegations about  the Bush administration, some true, some not, some your opinions.

News Flash!  Bush is not running for President this year.

  24. NEVER! If he wins, we are seriously thinking of leaving the country. He's even more evil than Bush!

  25. I would vote for Bush again before voting for the radical anti american rev. Wright like ,sermon preacher  Obama.

  26. people support mccain because he has more xp..

  27. First a lot of this concern over the vets started with Clinton when he cut the benefits almost in half. And you can't blame the president for all of this, he has to have Congress and the Senates approval for most of what he does. The democrats agreed to the war and I don't talk FOX News smears I talk FOX news truths. McCain isn't Bush, I wished he was more like him tho.

  28. First off I can almost guarantee you that most of those things on that list, having seen them all before, are either acts by Bush that the media escalated or never actually happened.

Second, McCain is a POW veteran. I can't imagine him treating the members of the military badly at all.

  29. George Bush doesn't fund the war, Congress does.

  30. Both sad and scarey.  Electing "Bush Light" could be the death of the Constitution and of the middle class.  Sarah Palin in the White House would be a joke.  Her only credentials are her adherence to the Radical Christian agenda.
