Given miller and mcfadden doesnt work?

who would you like to see as the scotland strikers in a 4-4-2, or striker in a 4-5-1?

posted this earlier and it isnt showing up. happens all the time.

Miller is a good option as a lone striker in the 'tougher' games as he has proven against the likes of Italy.

  As you say, when we play with 2 up top, Miller and Faddy don't 'click' but who to play is a hard decision, Boyd would be a strong candidate but a run of games at Ibrox would help his cause as a lack of action is not going to help his sharpness.

  End of the day, it comes down to the opponent, home or away, how much we need the 3 points..etc.. but for the 1st time in many years we have a good few options going forward, O'Connor has had a good start to the season and gives something different, McCulloch adds a physical presence, Maloney can be a big player if he finds his form again up here, Commons looked good when he came on during the week.

  All I know if McFadden HAS to start as he brings something a wee bit different with him

I continue to be amazed that Lee Miller is constantly overlooked for Scotland. His first touch is amazing, he brings others into play and can hit the back of the net. He would give Scotland something different when needed and with him holding the ball up and flicking it on for Faddy they could form a great partnership.

It's such a shame that some players are overlooked because they don't play for the old firm.

Surely Seve is worth a try at the back, he was outstanding this afternoon.

I would drop the headless chickens that are miller and mcfanny....and try big ears fletcher and wee naismith when hes fit, it could be a partnership that in the years ahead could work.
