  1. The winners write the laws. Thats the bitter truth. At least the US government made treaties with the natives there, allowing them some redress in the courts, as in NZ. In Australia we are still waiting for a treaty! The government said sorry for the stolen generation, had a high court ruling on native title, but no official treaty.

  2. The Amerindians had only a few Empires when the Europeans got here, and most of them were at war with other Amerindian tribes or empires.  In most cases the Europeans were joined by Amerindians to fight one of the other tribes, so they came as allies if you want to get stupid with your definitions.  The Aztecs for instance were conquered by less than 500 Spaniards?????  NO. It was the thousands of other Amerindians who had been enslaved by the Aztecs that helped Spain with the conquest.

As for most of the rest of the Western Hemisphere, A land laying dormant and unclaimed isn't a country.  Remember that many tribes even today cry that "the earth can't be owned".  Well, if it can't be owed, they we couldn't steal it.

  3. The conquer writes the rules. That is just the way it is.

  4. Yes they are. They stole it by lies and force of arms, and now they are complaining that someone else is doing it to them. I think it's funny myself.Who knows, maybe they'll like reservation life?

  5. I agree!  The only difference between Mexicans and Native Americans is the fake line that white people made back in the day.

  6. Given that the Europeans, and English, and Africans, and Asians when they arrived in the New World were not met by any Native Americans, Native South Americans, and/or Central Americans who informed them in the language of their choice that they were violating immigration rules, the answer is no. Given that the Native Americans, South Americans, and Central Americans were in no position to send anyone back, the answer is also no.

What a simplistic attempt at logic that denies not only the History of both civilizations, but also the development of international law.
