Giving a sperm sample????????????

me and my husband have been ttc for about 3years,i went to my gp 3months ago they did a full blood count and a 21 day hormone test they said everything was fine and my levels where normal i do ovulate every month I'm on my 3rd month using the clearblue monitor when i went back to discus my results they said they wouldn't take it any further until my husband had been checked out,he is going on wed to see his gp.

what do you think they will do besides a sperm test? and how long before you get the results? I'm sure he will get the all clear as we had bought a home test and it was fine.

Anyone got and advise? please! is this going to be the start of a lengthy and emotional process for us every month is geting harder and harder.

I feel really bad for you - if there is a real problem, I can offer my sample - I am very fertile.

When I gave a sperm sample, they gave me some magazines and videos to watch and I masturbated into a cup.  That was pretty much it.

We got the results the same day at our clinic.

first they'll have him deposit a sample into a container and then they'll test it. if that's normal they will do a physical. all good things come in time. they said i wouldn't be able to have kids and i had 4. good luck

They will probably do a sperm and blood test.  Should be about a week or two before you get the results.
