Question:

Giving away £5 notes...?

Did anyone see the article in the papers about a man wearing a sandwich board offering to give a £5 note to anyone who asked for one? It was done as a survey for a financial website to show the appathy of the British people toward making positive financial decision.

Don't they see, that it has nothing to do with appathy - it's the fact that we all know you don't get something for nothing, and who'd want to be seen chatting to a bloke in a sandwich board.

  1. I'd go back to him over and over to obtain as much money as possible.

  2. You would be amazed just how far, a poor person, can make £5 go, this is making a mockery of the poor, in bad taste I reckon.

  3. hey it's money, who cares.

  4. I think you're kind of right...it's more to do with our distrust of the sort of advertising culture that'll ring you up at nine in the morning to inform you that you've won a free holiday (but only if you do this this and this and give us all THIS money...)

I know if I saw that guy, I wouldn't believe him.
