  1. My pediatrician gave the ok for solids at 4 months.  My son had good head control so she said it was ok.  I started him on cereal but he hated it so I went right into fruits and veggies and he loves it all.  He is now 9 months old and the doctor told me not to give him juice yet.  She said water and formula only.  He is tiny so she doesn't want him filling up  on juice and not eating his formula or baby food.

  2. My son was 16 weeks old which is the very earliest a health visitor would recommend.  The normal for a baby is around 6 months.

    Maj

  3. 4 months

  4. At 5 months, my baby's dr said she can have 4 oz in the morning and 4 oz at night of water.  My baby doesn't like water so the dr said I can mix half water and half apple juice.  She really likes it. We introduced rice cereal and oatmeal at 4 months and green gerber veggies at 5 months.

  5. solids= between  or 5 months

juice= after 6 months..but try to wait because if they really like it they won't want their formula or breast milk

  6. We're not giving our son any juice ever, and we're just now giving him just a little bit of solids and he's only 7 months....our doc says formula is all he needs until a year..

  7. With solids, I waited until 6-7 months with my kids. And I don't think any of them got juice until after 12 months. I am not a big fan of juice, even though my kids do get it occasionally, so I gave them water instead.

  8. 6 Months.

  9. 4 TO 5 MONTHS..

  10. When they seem ready.  Both my kids were given the green light at 4 months by their Dr. (each of them had a different Dr.) for solids.  I did not do juice with my daughter until 8 months or so, I gave her water if she was thirsty.  When I did start giving her juice, I bought the Apple & Eve brand (100% fruit juice) and have her 1/2 the carton mixed with equal water.

  11. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends nothing but breastmilk for the first 6 months.

  12. Around 5 or 6 but my daughter is 7 months and still not eating that well....just do it when your baby seems ready but don't force the issue.

  13. my brothers were about 4 or 5 months
