  1. If you are asking if giving birth will result in wide hips after delivery, the answer is no.  Your pelvic bones will seperate a bit during delivery but go back in place afterwards.   I have had 4 pregnancies and my body shape didn't change after any of the births.

  2. Yes, your hips have to spread for baby to come out. The process usually happens over the course of the pregnancy and with all the other changes you may not notice that much. But believe me, they spread. Its normal and has to happen. Some women regain their figure, and some womens hips stay spread, or at least mine never returned to normal

  3. During your last trimester, your hip bones get very loose so that when your baby is born, it'll be easier.  And yes, when you're in labor, your hips do spread out a bit.  For some women, their hips eventually go back to how they were, some women, they don't.  You might have some idea of how your body will react based on how your mother's body reacted, but that's not always a reliable indicator.  The only real way to know is to have a baby and see what happens.  Not that I'd suggest having a baby just to know how your body will react or anything.

  4. No that's not what gives you bigger hips. It all depends on how your carry the baby while your pregnant. I have 3 kids and my hips didn't get any bigger with any of them.

  5. Mine did a little after my first and second.  But I think that the FAT around your hips is what does it.  you can make it smaller by working out and losing weight.

  6. It is normal for you hip bones to open up because it means that your body is getting ready for when your in your last trimester and when you have your baby.
