Giving me mixed signals

Question

There is this guy that I have liked for a while, and I thought that he liked me too. Then he started dating one of my old friends (she didn't like him until I started liking him).

We were at a party and his gf wasn't there. He sat next to me a flirted like CRAZY. For my birthday, he even gave me thirty dollars, when everybody else gave me ten.

He always wants to be my partner in the classes that we have together, and he always wants to sit next to me, even though he has a gf. But when she is around, he can't even look at me.

I am pretty sure that he likes me, but I can't really tell. His gf and I were really good friends last year, but this year she was too "cool" to talk to me outside of our math class.

So, basically I am asking if he likes me, and if I should ask him out after my so called friend dated him. Please help, and nothing irrelevant.

but basically there are a few major things you need to ask yourself i would answer them for you but i am not you

1. do you consider your friendship with her more important than your crush on him, because you will most likely need to choose because she will think you are betraying her

2. Do you know that he actually likes yu or is just a flirt or considers you a friend

I think he really likes you but is stuck on fully acting on those feelings because of you and your friends situation. I think you should give him time to break off with his gf and then ask him. Hope this helps a little! :)

that usually happens.

he's afraid to break up with her, cause he doesn't want to

cause drama between the two of you.

just give him little signals as well.

eventually they will be over soon.

cause he's not having his freedom.

i mean, really his girlfriend is just bossing him around.

like a dog.

i think he likes you a lot! but the thing is you mite want to reconsider cuz if he ends up flirting with u even tho he has a gf, then if he ever asks you out he might do the same thing to you. but then again, he might like you and not her and thats why he is doing that. ill bet you she is jelous cuz he likes you more than he likes her.
