This year I have decided to contribute to organizations that support a good cause. I have already given to ASPCA, To Write Love on Her Arms and a breast cancer fund. I need some more ideas. Thanks!

  1. I am a testicular cancer survivor.  How about giving to the Lance Armstrong Foundation which is doing more to make cancer a national priority than most organizations.  I am participating in their LIVESTRONG Challenge Philadelphia and Austin.  I am looking for people to sponsor me and the donation goes directly to the LAF.

  2. Well, maybe think about something that has personally affected you in your (or your family's) life, or something you're passionate about. I'm just starting to sponsor a child through SOS Children's Villages because I'm passionate about AIDS, orphans, African issues, etc. I also volunteer to the heart and stroke society because that's been something that's hit my family. Do some research to see what organizations you want to donate to and really believe in.

  3. www.thepencilproject.com

They do not except cash donations but are still doing amazing things. You can buy some pencils and send them to a needy school!

  4. I love the Heifer Project!!  Empowering people, particularly women, around the world (including the US).
