Gizmo Titan in good position to cause an upset in the Bettor.com Northern Irish Derby Consolation 550 at Drumbo Park
There are plenty of big names participating in the Bettor.com Northern Irish Derby Consolation 550, but Gizmo Titan is more than capable of producing a shocking result at Drumbo Park this weekend.
The veteran hound has shown significant improvement in his last three outings at this venue, and therefore, one can expect him to upset the likes of, Whiterock and Brae Boy.
After turning in a couple of disappointing performances at Shelbourne Park, the black dog came here with fervour and determination.
He handled the situation quite nicely to register an emphatic win at the start of this month. In a similar contest, J. McGee’s charge did a fantastic job to secure the top spot by a margin of two lengths.
In his penultimate appearance, he was a bit unlucky in the beginning, since he got bumped at the second bend, it was almost impossible for him to vie for victory. Yet, Ballymac Maeve’s son did well to ensure the runner-up spot.
He made another unlucky trip on June 16th, when he finished fourth behind, Lolos Joe. Gizmo Titan’s recent efforts suggest that he can make things tricky for his rivals.
On the other hand, Whiterock is heading the market, despite a humiliating loss recently. After sealing a comprehensive win, the white and black dog failed to continue his good run, and finished at bottom of the table last time out.
He is facing a very strong set of runners tonight, thus it will not be an easy task for him to bounce back.
According to our calculations, Brae Boy is not going to justify his odds. The brindle dog is in terrible form these days, as he did nothing special in his previous three outings at Drumbo Park.
The situation is equally bad for Colourful Fox, who ended up fourth in his previous two trips. Tubbertelly Duke cannot be trusted especially after his fifth place last time. Similarly, Hoolys Sally is unlikely to trouble the judge.
According to our predictions, Gizmo Titan will be able to outsmart, Whiterock and Brae Boy. However, he will have to make a fine start in order to grab the winning prize worth €1000.
