In reply, the Glamorgan 2nd XI team chased the target down in 37 overs, losing just four wickets in the process. The top score of the innings and the game came from the team’s skipper David Brown, who ended up with an unbeaten 60.
The hosts elected to bat first after winning the toss. Their skipper expected the pitch to be good for batting in the first half of the game, but things did not work out well for the team in the end.

http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ollie-Rayner-c2139 and Devon Endersby also got out after getting starts. They scored 13 and 27 in their respective outings. There was no significant performer from the lower-order.
However, Beer batted well until the end. He got out in the death overs after adding 46 runs to the total from 67 deliveries. The effort was not enough to guide the team to a solid total, as Sussex 2nd XI were all out for 181.
Michael O’Shea did a marvellous job for the Glamorgan 2nd XI side, picking up a five-wicket haul in the match. He did not get much rest, coming out to open the innings for his side alongside http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Imran-Hassan-c64223.
The pair collected 37 runs at the top of the order, but failed to make a significant contribution to the total. They were dismissed after scoring 21 and 19 runs to the total respectively.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ben-Wright-c1143 and wicketkeeper batsman Chris Cooke were the other two wickets to fall in the innings. They were unable to make an impact in the match, scoring 16 and 1 respectively.
Brown and Daniel http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Roberts-c86287 put together and unbeaten 99-run stand for the fifth wicket, guiding their side to victory. Both batsmen scored half-centuries, ending up with 60 and 52.
The home team’s skipper managed to pick up a couple of wickets in the match, but failed to defend the total in the end.
