The Glamorgan fast bowler, Will Owen returned with figures of 4 for 31 to restrict Somerset to 201 for 8, in a Clydesdale Bank 40 Group C clash, underway at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Peter Trego top scored with 64 runs while rest of the line up failed
to get past the 35-run mark.

It was Michael O’Shea who broke the well-established pair, having Hildreth caught by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dean-Cosker-c1350 at short midwicket. Hildrerth scored 31 runs from 46 balls, including three fours as well.
O’Shea struck back in the 23rd over, removing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jos-Buttler-c1733 for 10. Buttler’s slog sweep off O’Shea, safely landed in Wallace’s hands behind the stumps.
Meanwhile, Opener Trego, reached his 50 off 74 deliveries. He was caught behind off Will Owen, in the 30th over of the game, for 64. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Owen-c80374 struck back in his next over, removing Craig Meschede to leave Somerset 145 for 6.
At this stage, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arul-Suppiah-c1084 and the acting captain, Alfonso Thomas, provided the required momentum to take the side to a respectable 201 for 8,
in the allotted quota of 40 overs.
Somerset has so far remained unbeaten in the season, and having them restricted to 201, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Glamorgan-c784 have a very good chance of breaking their unbeaten streak.
