After their failure to qualify for the play-offs of the Friends Life T20 tournament, the Dragons are geared up to display their heroics in the Championship.

However, the Dragons have showed some good performances in the 40-over and one-day formats of the game, and the skipper thinks that they have an opportunity to win the marathon.
Talking to the media today, Peterson said, “There’s always a possibility. I would be stupid, and the media would have a massive go at me, if I said it wasn’t possible.”
He further told, “We ticked a lot of boxes in Twenty20 cricket and we want to do the same in four-day cricket and one-day cricket. We would like to see the guys score runs, bowlers take wickets and fielders take catches. If you put all those disciplines
together you’ll win more games than you lose.”
Petersen has held the club’s reins for the first time to lead it in this season. The 30-year-old South African is the 26th captain to lead Glamorgan. He poses to be the Test opener of his national team.
Starting his career from Notherns in 2001, Petersen has evolved into a skilled opening batsman. On the basis of almost a decade old career, he has been appointed to lead one of the oldest and biggest county sides for this season.
