Glamorgan saddened by Tom Maynard’s death-Cricket news Update
English players have been stunned by the accidental death of Surrey batsman, Tom Maynard, as they extended their condolences to the Maynard family .Metropolitan Police reported to have found the body on the rail track near Wimbledon Park tube station in
South London and it was later confirmed to be Tom who had been hit by the subway.

Maynard’s death has brought grief to his ex-club players and staff who had played alongside him before he made the switch. Jim Allenby, the captain of Glamorgan revealed how shocked the players and the club were upon hearing the tragic news.
“There is nothing we can do to make things right or better, I can’t begin to imagine how they are going to feel about losing Tom. We all knew Tom and what sort of a good guy he was and that makes things harder.He is one of Glamorgan’s own, we all looked

“We had some counseling and the support we have been given is excellent. We all came together the day after it happened, were all sat down in a room together and talked about Tom and told stories about him.” he further added.
Glamorgon postponed their T20 match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Worcestershire-c866, to give respect to the Maynard family and the delay further helped the players, who weren’t in the right frame of mind.
