Glamorgan v Durham – Clydesdale Bank 40 Group B – Glamorgan earn first win of the campaign
Glamorgan finally registered their first win of the season after they overcame Durham in a low scoring affair of the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition, played at the Colwyn Bay Cricket Club Ground on June 10, 2012.
The win looked well out of reach after Glamorgan were bowled out on 163 in 34.3 overs. However, Simon Jones’, the former English bowler, inspired bowling performance helped his side to defend a modest total.
His four-wicket haul, coupled with impressive outings for his fellow bowlers ensured that the visitors were made to work hard for their runs – eventually falling on 148.
