Glamorgan v Essex: Clydesdale Bank 40 - First Innings Recap
A Group C match of the Clydesdale Bank 40 between Essex and Glamorgan ended without a result due to heavy rain showers, at the County Ground, Chelmsford in England on Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
The visitors batted first and collected 251 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 38 overs. They had to bat two more overs in their innings, but rain stopped play soon after the end of the 38 over.

Walters missed out on a half-century by two runs, as he got out for 48 runs. However, Rees batted superbly, collecting 101 runs off 105 balls with the help of eight fours and two sixes.
