Chris Cooke followed him back to the pavilion 3 overs later, dismissed, lbw, by Graeme White (8-1-28-3), and was succeeded to the pitch by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jim-Allenby-c1695. However, the 29-year-old right-hander only managed a contribution of 11 runs, after which White struck
once again to claim Allenby for his second victim of the day.
By this point, Glamorgan were at 59 for 3, and White showed no signs of relenting – Wallace, who had managed to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Riki-Wessels-c2319 in the 14th over.

North was sent packing by Carter, and Patel mopped up the tail, dismissing both Wright and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Wagg-c1506 (5), with Glamorgan finishing at 181 by the end of 40 overs.
Notts got off to a poor start in their chase, and openers http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Dean-Cosker-c1350 (6-0-26-3) by the 7th over.
Wessels (38) and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Robert-Croft-c2344 (4-0-15-1). By the time Voges (1) was dismissed, lbw, by Cosker
in the 18th over, Notts were at 77 for 4 and the game was interrupted by a spell of rain that lasted for roughly an hour.
When play resumed, Chris Read’s men required a revised target of 110 more to win, as per D/L calculations - 33 off the final three overs. The 19th over by Allenby, with Read (14*) and Patel at the crease yielded 13 runs, including two fours by
Patel. Notts now required 20 off 12 balls, but the last delivery of the 20th over saw Patel dismissed by Wagg.

The victory sees http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Glamorgan-c784 hanging on to the chance of a semi-final qualification by a thread, while Notts’ defeat sees them failing in the attempt to reach the top of Group B.
