Glan Lady gets good ground at Towcester - Better Prices On Betfair Mobile Conditional Jockeys´ Mares´ Handicap Hurdle
Glan Lady has got a favourable surface at Towcester and there is no reason why she should have a big run in the Better Prices On Betfair Mobile Conditional Jockeys´ Mares´ Handicap Hurdle, taking place on Tuesday, May 22nd.
In her last appearance at this venue, the 6-year-old was a bit rusty, because of too much softness in the ground. Since the mare failed to cope up with the conditions, she finished sixth in the Betfair Conditional Jockeys' Training
Series Handicap Hurdle (Racing Excellence Initiative) last month.
Her previous below par effort might prompt the punters not to support her. But it will be unwise to bet against her, as she is more than capable of producing a wonderful performance today.
The class 5 meeting will be kicked off at 20:45 GMT. Among the confirmed entries for the 2-mile event are: Ladyvie, Glan Lady, Flowerbud, Fair Breeze, Jamaddji, My Sister, Tyrana, Silsula, Lucky Score, Lady Valtas, Prime Design
and Daddy´slittlegirl.
Despite the fact that the ground is going to suit her, Glan Lady will have to perform out of her skin to beat the likes of Ladyvie. After struggling a lot on a heavy surface at Chepstow, the mare improved her work significantly,
when given a suitable ground at Newton Abbot last month.
In the Newton Abbot Races Handicap Chase, David Pipe’s trainee seized the top rank by two and a half lengths. Her supporters are expecting her to build on her recent strike and do something special today.
My Sister also has possibilities. She was not impressive last time out, finishing eighth in the Bet totepool On All Irish Racing Novices' Handicap Hurdle at Stratford. Jamaddji is making her Towcester debut and it will be interesting
to see how she utilises her skills at a new venue.
According to our calculations, Glan Lady has a good chance of delivering a fantastic performance today. Ladyvie also likes such conditions, but it will be hard for her to carry forward the good work. With two giants up against
each other, a nail-biting clash is on the cards. We wish the best of luck to everyone.
