Glasgow or St andrews?

which city has a lower cost of living with good part time job oppurtuinties ?....also which university would be a good choice taking these factors into consideration along with their reputations?

St. Andrews tends to rank quite a bit higher on most tables than does Glasgow. So that certainly should be a factor to consider, as even if living at St. Andrews is more expensive, going there could lead to better opportunities afterwards than going to Glasgow might. It's something to think about.
