Glass industry ,where is ther useful places to try?

Sorry Nick but i'm not sure we have one anymore in this country other than Pilkingtons glass in St.Helens, Lancashire. Most of the rest of it has either gone to France to St.Gobain, the massive glass people who own B&Q and Kingfisher or the work has gone out to China where people earn almost nothing in return for a 14 hour day. Not sure what you want to do with glass but have you tried yellow pages for glaziers, window fitters etc? Good luck!

There's the National Glass Museum in Sunderland & they produce some fantastic items. If you're looking further afield, there's Consol Glass in South Africa where I used to work. They make mainly for the food industry & South African Breweries.
