Glasses? Forever?

Question

I'm 14 and I will wear glasses soon( -1 and -1.25 )

Will the glasses stay with me forever?

and can I get lenses at 14?

You can improve your vision using eye excercises eg Bates method, Eyerobics etc, as well as giving your eye breaks from close work. If you need glasses, only use them when needed like seeing the blackboard at school, driving etc. Don't use them for near work like reading or computer as you'll strain your eyes more making them worse and more dependent on glasses. My left eye is normal and my right eye is -2.00 and I only use my glasses for things like watching TV and driving etc. You can get contacts at any age if you can show that you are responsible enough to have them.

I might get a contact for my right eye soon as it is annoying to see with one eye sometimes.

Of course, you can get contact lenses but you will probably have to wear graded contact lenses/glasses in your life BUT you can get eye laser surgery to fix it
