Glasses? help plz?

I wear glasses and i was just wondering if you dont wear your glasses will your eyes get worse?

No.  Your eyesight is dependent on your genes and in the case of nearsightedness how much near work you do/did as a kid.

Not unless they were going to get worse anyway.

Wearing or not wearing glasses doesn't make the eyes go better or worse. (both myths are out there)

There are some exceptions to that, the main one being with very young children where the glassses are part of a treatment for a lazy eye.  Failure to wear glasses, then, can result in unnecessarily poor vision in that eye, permanently.

yes your eyes will be forced to work extra hard to try and focus, if you dont like your glasses you should try wearing contacts. i have a lot of problems with my eyes, but i wear contacts and it really helps me out. try having an appointment with your optometrist and see how they can help you.

Yes! Not wearing glasses makes your eyes work extra hard.. If you don't like your glasses and that's why you don't wear them, just wear them as much as possible. Good luck! =)
