My glasses' nosepiece leaves a mark on my nose...

Is this supposed to happen or is my glasses not adjusted properly?

If so, how do I explain this to an optometrist?

  1. pretty common problem, you can have them switch the material the nose piece is made out of from the harder plastic to the softer silicone. The silicone will need replaced more often as it is porous but it may be a better fit for you.

  2. This is a very common problem. The glasses may have to be readjusted. They also sell little pads that stick onto the nosepiece to prevent this problem.

  3. My glasses leave indents on my nose all the time,I've gotten used to it.You maybe should have them adjusted, though!

  4. may be the lens is made of glass so it make it heavy

u can try plastic lenses which is not heavy and dont leave marks
