Glasses????

Question

ok, today i got contacts and i have kind of a lazy eye [[i had surgery for it already]] but it NEVER shows, because its in my right eye and i use my left eye more, and so when i put in the contacts, it made my eye go all retarded, so i decided that i'll get a new pair of glasses.

my question is, what kind [style] of glasses should i get, and in your opinion, which style of glasses do you think look the best/prettiest?

Don't get the black thick framed emo kind...(insert limp wrist here)..and you'll be fine.

I think that it totally depends on what you look like, how much you want to spend, how long you're going to have them, and what situations you'll be wearing them in. Here are some things to think about when you're shopping:

In terms of the shape of the frame that will suit you best(round, rectangular, oval etc) that usually depends on the shape of your face. Check out the link I provided!

Other things to think about:

Should I get something trendy or classic? = How long will you be having them? If a long time, go classic).

Will they go with my clothes? = Black, white or dark metal frames usually go best with everything. Think before getting bright silver or gold - u don't want to clash with your jewelry, so don't unless you ALWAYS wear one, and NEVER the other. Also, will they be appropriate in any situation? Ideally they should look good whether you're wearing jeans, office wear or an evening gown.

Are they sturdy? Usually the spring loaded (kind where the arms can bend a little outwards, not only inwards) are more durable. Also, do you want with nose pieces or without?

I went with black frames, sort of rectangular-oval mix with a tiny bit of cat's eye point in the upper outside corner. I really like them =0)

it depends on what works for your personal face.

the thick black frames are in style right now, as well as square lens.

just play around at the office, and bring a friend to help you choose! =]

Square frames in any color seem to be in style the most these days and look good on almost anybody,if you can make them work for you,I'd give those a try.I have brown square frames and I absolutely LOVE them even after getting them almost a year ago!Good Luck!!!

i definitely love the thick-rimmed. not too dorky, but it's clean and simple, and it's more appealing than other styles.
