Question:

Glastonbury 2008 tickets? Anyone else not sure if they got one or not?

We got through to the card details page, entered all details nad clicked submit, but it came up with the server busy page again. Now when we go back and try to do it again it says our reg numbers have already been used. Does that mean we got them? Or has the system gone weird? Have no confirmation email and have seen no confirmation page. Anyone else have this problem?

  1. Exactly the same thing has happened to me, i am just fed up with it now to be honest. Next year lets all boycott glastonbury - its all about who has got fastest internet providers getting tickets. The phone line has just been an out of order sound too except on a couple of rare occasions that it had the engaged tone. How many opperators do you think are working? 5?

    Anyway i emailed the seetickets and got an automated response, so we'll see. Am holding out that they just have a delay on processing the tickets! Fingers crossed and good luck everyone!


  2. Even if you do get through to the 'confirmation screen', no reference number appears or transaction record. It just says to wait for your email confirmation in the next 24 hours. Which I still haven't received.

    Sounds like your booking is fine, if you can't use the registration number again.

  3. Yeah, same with me and a mate. We wondered if it was because we were both trying at the same time. Was anyone else trying with your numbers? Have emailed seetickets abd glasto but no response (nor to my post on another answer here)

    Update 21.30GMT have phoned seetickets and apparently am successful. Tickets still on sale to, despite what the website says.

I got thru to the screen where you typed your card details in and did so, said erver busy , crocked or what have you, then I clicked the back button and tried to submit it once again this time it worked and went to a final screen which although it didnt show any confirmation number said your booking was successful you will  get an email within 24 hours or so.

    I thought id get a confirmation number but i guess its just sit and wait

  5. You could try this: '.............cannot find your confirmation email, first check your spam folder. The Festival’s ticket agency - Seetickets will be able to help you if you provide the registered surname and post code. Telephone: 0844 412 4626; email: glastonbury@seetickets.com.  I do know from past experience that the system is so inundated on 'ticket day' that it doesn't always cope very well!  Good Luck!

    The same thing happened to me but I managed to get through to the ticket line.

    I was told that there was a clitch in the system and that I had not got the tickets and that my reg. numbers had not been used.

    I am lucky I managed to get through and got them over the phone. Tickets are still available and I hope you manage to get them.

  7. the same thing has happened 2 me n all my mates , we received a confirmation email bout 3 hrs afta , i thing once uve put ure reg numbas n postcodes in and it wont let u do it again that u ave tickets its a nightmare thou .. fingers crossed ure emails will *** thru !!!

I got a confirmation page come up but have yet to receive the e-mail confirmation.  I have since tried to submit the same registration numbers I have and it does say that their is an error and these have been already submitted so I'm taking that as confirmation that I was succesful the first time and suggest you do the same.  From past experience it can take some time for the mail confirmation to come through so don't worry that that hasn't arrived yet either.
