Glatton Becky favourite for the Owners’ Bonus Series Heat 2
Glatton Becky has been given the best odds for winning the Owners’ Bonus Series Heat 2 at Peterborough in England on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. The 420 metres flat race has a cash prize of £98 for the winner.
The Grade A1 event is scheduled to start at 21:07 GMT and has attracted six quality hounds. Their names are: Glatton Becky, Farran Brae, Beechwood Marge, Tropical Beauty, Pride Of Jura and Come On Dini.
R. Devenish’s trainee, Glatton Becky, has won the confidence of the bookmakers following some solid performances in recent times. She has been quite impressive in this class and has improved a lot over the passage of time.
The brindle b***h has earned three victories in her previous five outings, which shows that she has got a terrific momentum at the moment. However, her last couple of outings saw her struggle to some extent, as she managed third in them.
Despite that, the punters will have faith in Glatton Becky and will look forward to place the maximum number of bets on her. The favourite b***h is the daughter of Bexhill Eoin out of Southoe Queen and was born in March 2009.
On the other hand, Farran Brae has also earned decent odds for winning today’s heat. She might not find things easy in this class, but her form in recent times has been good enough to challenge the rest of the pack.
W. Scoles’ trainee finished fourth in her last appearance at Peterborough. She was one of the favourites to win that event, but got off to a bad start, which cost her some crucial time. If she manages to be quick at the start of the race, she will definitely
challenge Glatton Becky.
The black b***h is the daughter of Kinloch Brae out of Foggy Blue Bell and was born in February 2009.
Tropical Beauty, trained by J. Forman, will also be the one to watch out for. She will be chasing a hat-trick of victories at Peterborough today, but will have to be at her best in order to do so.
The black b***h, who is in very good form at the moment, is the daughter of Balintore Brave out of Burnpark Kay and was born in March 2009.
The remaining three runners Beechwood Marge, Pride Of Jura and Come On Dini will need some luck in order to win the heat, as they are not in very good form compared to the top three favourites.
